Itinerary
- Get picked up early in the morning at your hotel. In the morning, go to the ticket station to buy your Angkor Passes. Once that’s all settled, hop in your private tuk-tuk or car. Head to the first stop of the tour, the majestic Angkor Wat. You will see the sun rise above the temple. It is known as the largest religious monument in the entire world. It paints its tall towers akin to a flowering lotus bud in a variety of colors. We can visit in one day about 8–14 temples. As a result, our body will sweat, and we will need to take a shower and rest. Our journey begins at 4 a.m. and ends at 1 p.m.; it’s a long day, and we walk a lot to see all of the temples in Angkor.
- Make your way to Angkor Thom and Bayon Temple. It is surrounded by lush forests and best seen in the morning due to its eastward orientation. Then, climb up the Terrace of the Elephants. This long platform was used by King Jayavarman VII to follow games and celebrations. He also watched his armies return from victory there.
