Phnom Kulen Waterfall Wat Tour
Phnom Kulen waterfall, It’s located in the northeast, and the distance is approximately 60 kilometers from Siem Reap city. It is 300 to 400 meters high. It extends over 40 kilometers long. It is located on an axis with a northwest to southeast direction. Phnom Kulen waterfall holds historical and cultural significance. It was the first capital in the Angkor era. This signifies peace and national reconciliation after the Khmer Empire was ruled by the Javanese.
What to Expert
First, pick up tickets in town. Next, have the car drop you off at the base of the mountain. It’s about 1 km away along the road to the right of the main ticket booth. Then, walk around the sites, including the 1000 lingars Carving, the waterfall, and the Preah Angthom Pagoda.
The walk up to the big statue of Buddha is really great. It starts with a mass of steps. Along the way, there are two pagodas. One is old and the other is under construction. There’s a small pool if you already need to freshen up. The waterfall is beautiful, and you can get really close to it. There are two waterfalls. The smaller one is on top, and the larger one is connected to the smaller one at a lower level. We can swim in the larger one. You can store your belongings in a bin at the bottom of the waterfall. It costs about US$1–2 to rent a bin. They give you a key you can put on your wrist so you won’t lose it.
